A Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Mary Jo Leventhal has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines and risk management services. These esteemed designations recognize individuals for their advanced insurance knowledge and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

In her Business Development role at Wallace & Turner, Mary Jo crafts tailored insurance solutions and fosters lasting relationships with policyholders. She collaborates with the agency’s team to combine industry expertise and innovation to meet the evolving needs of insureds. As Director of Operations, Mary Jo is dedicated to enhancing organizational efficiency and implementing strategic initiatives that contribute to the success and growth of Wallace & Turner as well as our clients.

Prior to joining Wallace & Turner, Mary Jo held Commercial Lines positions with Kraft Lake Insurance Agency, MetLife, and Brower Insurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mary Jo has made an impact in the community through her many leadership roles, including Co-Chair of the Springfield Rotary Gourmet Food Truck Competition, past President of the Springfield Rotary Club, Board member of Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties, Co-Chair of the Springfield Museum of Art’s Art Ball for All, past Area Director for American Heart Association, and continues to be active in United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties.

A lifelong resident of Springfield, Mary Jo attended Catholic Central and obtained a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Wittenberg University. She has been married to her husband Adam for nearly twenty years.
